On October 7th, SPLASH Mentor Pete Suchman  provided a kick-off event for the Student Council at Shore Road School. The students will be adopting storm drains around the school, making observations about the trash that is in and around them and recording that data throughout the school year. In the spring, they will organize their entire school for an educational event about storm drain run-off and its effects on the environment.
