On February 26, 2014, SPLASH Education Team Mentors Don Harris & Leigh Block visited the students and spent an hour building their awareness of factors contributing to waterfront pollution.

The students launched a ‘Go Green to Save the Blue’  event for the entire school and invited the SPLASH Mentors back on Aptil 11th, 2014 for an outdoor event.

 

 

 

 

This is the amazing art project they created from bottle caps and entered in the Wyland Art Foundation Challenge.

Their project won the competition!
